We’ve had a little time off since the cross Canada tour with our friends Elliott Brood, but we’re happy to announce that we will be headlining the In The Soil Festival in St. Catharines on Friday, April 24th. It’s an outdoor stage so let’s hope that the sun shines and it’s a warm evening!
It’s been great hooking up with Elliott Brood again. Thanks to everyone who came out to Kelowna, Vancouver, Victoria, Nelson and Golden. Tonight’s show is almost sold out. So, if you haven’t bought tickets yet, do it now!
We’re in Red Deer tonight. So happy to be back! It’s been a whole year. Looking forward to seeing you all!
We are excited to be returning to Winnipeg to play our home away from home, the Park Theatre, on Sunday. We did two shows there last year, one on our own and one as part of JUNOfest. We also had a great time performing at the Winnipeg Folk Festival back in July. So, we definitely have a connection with the city! Come check out our new line-up and a new song called Easier.
The Wilderness of Manitoba would like to thank all of their fans who came out to the shows in London, Hamilton and Toronto last week. They were truly great nights of music. We would also like to thank Elliott Brood for inviting us to tour with them. In February, we’ll be heading out west for headlining shows in Winnipeg and Red Deer before rejoining Elliott Brood. See you soon!
The Wilderness of Manitoba kicks off its cross Canada tour with good friends Elliott Brood this Thursday in London at Call The Office followed by Mills Hardware in Hamilton (sold out!) and the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto. Joining founding member Will Whitwham in the ever evolving line-up are Raven Shields (Dear Sister), Mike Brushey (Jenn Grant) and Tavo Diez de Bonilla (Jenn Grant).
Happy holidays from the band and all the best in 2015! We had a great year in 2014; releasing our new album, Between Colours, touring Canada, performing at SXSW in Austin and being nominated for a JUNO. We will be joining our friends Elliott Brood for a new tour across Canada starting in January. We hope to see you at one of the shows!
